Hypnotherapy FOR FEARS
What Is Fear?
Fear is defined as an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief or anticipation that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.
According to psychology research, fear is a primal emotion that involves a universal biochemical response and a high individual emotional response. Fear alerts us to the presence of danger or the threat of harm, whether that danger is physical or psychological.
Fear is a natural and adaptive response that has evolved to help protect us from danger. When we perceive a threat, our brains trigger a physiological response that prepares us to either fight, flee, or freeze. This response can be lifesaving in situations where there is a real danger, such as when we are confronted by a wild animal or faced with a sudden emergency.
However, there are times when our fear response can be over the top and doesn’t match the actual threat. For instance, being scared to talk in public may not pose any real physical danger, but we can still feel nervous and jittery.
When our fears get out of hand, it can cause us a lot of stress and can disrupt our daily life. It’s essential to differentiate between what’s a reasonable fear and what’s not. If we find that our fears are causing us too much distress or impacting our lives in a negative way, it may be a good idea to seek help from a professional.
Hypnotherapy can be an effective way to overcome fears. The benefits of hypnotherapy have been extensively studied for various issues, including fears. Hypnotherapy can be an effective approach for treating fears and phobias by tapping into the subconscious mind to help individuals overcome their irrational fears.

Fear is a natural and common emotion, and with the right tools and support, you can learn to manage and overcome your fears.
All human behavior comes from the subconscious mind and is driven by learned beliefs. Some helpful, some not so helpful. By exploring the depths of our subconscious mind, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and those around us. While we may have learned unhelpful beliefs or behaviors in the past, we can unlearn them and replace them with new, more adaptive patterns. With time and effort, we can rewire our brains and create more positive, fulfilling lives for ourselves and those around us.
Being In The NOW With Hypnosis
With Mr. Steve’s distinct hypnotherapy method, you will learn to be in the NOW. To be in the present means to be aware and focused on the current moment, rather than dwelling on the past or continuously worrying about the future. It involves being fully engaged in what you are doing, and experiencing each moment as it is, without judgment or interpretation. Practicing being present in the now can help you develop a greater sense of self-love. When we love ourselves, we are more willing to take risks and try new things. We are more open to personal growth and self-improvement. When we love ourselves, we are better able to love others. We are more patient, kind, and understanding.
Being present and mindful can be a powerful tool for overcoming fears because it allows us to focus on the present moment, rather than getting caught up in anxious thoughts about the future or past, and helps us to approach our fears with a clear and calm mind.
When you work with a certified hypnotherapist like Mr. Steve, you will have the guidance and support you need to feel more present and in the NOW.
How To Overcome A Fear
Overcoming a fear can be a challenging process, but it’s possible with the right strategies and support. Here are some tips that can help:
-
Face your fear: This may involve exposing yourself to the thing or situation that triggers your fear in a gradual and controlled way. For example, if you’re afraid of flying, you may start by looking at pictures of planes, then move on to visiting an airport, and eventually take a short flight with a trusted friend or family member.
-
Practice relaxation techniques: Deep breathing, meditation, or progressive muscle relaxation can help you relax and manage feelings of anxiety or panic when facing your fear.
-
Challenge negative thoughts: Our fears are often fueled by negative thoughts or beliefs. By questioning and challenging these thoughts, we can learn to view the situation more objectively and reduce our fear response.
-
Seek support: Talking to a trusted friend, family member, or mental health professional can provide valuable support and guidance throughout the process of overcoming your fear.
-
Use positive self-talk: Replace negative self-talk with positive affirmations and reminders that you are capable of facing and overcoming your fear.
Mr. Steve is trained in many avenues of thought or techniques in trying to understand how to become positive more often, and especially in how to sustain such thoughts and feelings of being more positive or looking on the bright side over a period of time, or at least more often. Through his work, he became intent on changing his life to a more joyful and creative one, especially one that had ME at the helm and not controlled by negativity, self-pity or being content in the way certain circumstances seem to be.
Hypnotherapy can use positive suggestions to help a person overcome a fear or phobia. Research has found that hypnosis can be an effective treatment for various types of phobias, including arachnophobia, social phobia, and agoraphobia. A study published in the International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis found that hypnosis was effective in reducing anxiety and fear associated with flying.
